Victim Wanted Narcotic Shot

(Las Vegas, NV) — Police report that a California man found dead outside a Las Vegas trauma center last month was discharged twice from the hospital after doctors refused his demands for what was described as a “highly narcotic” drug.

The Clark County coroner hasn’t determined what killed 43-year-old Jason King Forrester. He was found dead early Oct. 17 outside University Medical Center.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Wednesday that Forrester arrived at UMC “disoriented and confused” after crashing his pickup truck Oct. 16 into a parked vehicle on an Interstate 15 access road.

Records show Forrester wasn’t believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The police report says Forrester twice demanded an unspecified “highly narcotic shot,” but doctors refused to provide it citing what they called his belligerent behavior.
