(Las Vegas, NV) – The Rebels suffered their 21st consecutive road loss on Saturday night in Fort Collins, as Colorado State hammered UNLV, 33-11.
The Rebels haven’t won at Hughes Stadium since Nov. 20, 2002, and failed to win back-to-back games for the first time since 2008.
The one positive of the game for the Rebels was Tim Conrnett, who finished the game with 102 yards on 20 carries, becoming the first Rebel with eight 100-yard games in a season since Icky Woods in 1987.
Freshman quarterback Nick Sherry had a tough night, completing 12-of-30 passes for 88 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
The Rebels are back home on Saturday, when they host the Wyoming Cowboys at Sam Boyd Stadium.
