(Las Vegas, NV) — As President Barack Obama makes his way to a second term in the White House, several Nevada races kept the interest of Nevada voters late into the night.
Republican Dean Heller narrowly defeated Democrat challenger Shelley Berkley for the U.S. Senate seat, in a race that wasn’t decided until after midnight.
Dina Titus is headed back to Washington D.C., as is Joe Heck. Former state Senate leader Steven Horsford also is headed to the House of Representatives.
State Assembly incumbents had a good night and there will be some new state senators when the Legislative session begins in February.
