(Las Vegas, NV) — A record one million Nevadans are expected to head to the polls today, which includes many who have never voted before.
Voters will decide who takes the White House, a U.S. Senate seat, four congressional contests and who takes control of the state Senate.
“It was like a shot of caffeine,” says Jessica, a first-time voter. “I was really impressed with the diversity of people voting today.”
Lauren has been voting for more than 60 years and says it was one of the smoothest days she has ever scene at Dondero Elementary School on West Harmon. “I was in and out in what seemed to be a few seconds,” said Lauren.
Polls close in Nevada at 7 p.m.
