(North Las Vegas, NV)  —  The poker room at Aliante Casino and Hotel is no more.

Five employees have been laid off as a result of the closure. A company spokesperson says they are working to find new roles for those workers.

The space formerly occupied by the poker room will be transformed into a “new concept”, although specific details are not available.

Once known as Aliante Station, the North Las Vegas property was taken over by a new company last year, as part of former owner Station Casino’s bankruptcy.
