(Las Vegas, NV) – School crossing guards will soon be working for a private firm. California-based All City Management will take over the crossing guard program from Metro Police.
The two-million-dollar deal is for one year, with renewal options. The guards are expected to receive the same pay they do now.
The changeover is set to take place in early January.
The move should save Metro about $160,000 a year.
