(Las Vegas, NV)  —  There’s plenty of bull in Sin City. The Professional Bull Riders World Finals kick off today at the Thomas and Mack Center.

It’s the 19th straight year the PBR is being held in Las Vegas, where the top 35 riders compete for a total purse of $2.2 million.  The winner will be crowned on Sunday.

PBR is expected to draw about 70,000 fans and generate $15 million non-gaming revenue for the local economy.

The Convention and Visitors Authority has reached a deal to keep the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas through 2015.
