(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A remark made by Vice President Joe Biden in Las Vegas has angered Republicans.

During a rally at the Culinary Academy Thursday, Biden criticized vice presidential rival Paul Ryan, and made reference to a book Ryan co-authored called “The Young Guns,” where he argued Americans were becoming too dependent on the federal government.

Biden told the crowd “unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you.”

A spokesman for the Romney-Ryan campaign called the comment “over the top rhetoric,” and accused Biden of “ugly political attacks beneath the dignity of the office he occupies.”
