(Las Vegas, NV)  –  Senator Harry Reid’s comments about Congressional candidate Danny Tarkanian aren’t sitting well with his mother.

Lois Tarkanian tells the “Review-Journal” her family wanted to reach out to Reid for advice on a legal dispute in a $17 million legal judgement the FDIC is trying to collect.

Danny Tarkanian warned against it, claiming Reid would “try and hurt us.”

Yesterday, Reid said it would be “kind of embarrassing” to elect the Republican candidate.

Reid is backing opponent Steven Horsford for Nevada’s new Fourth Congressional District.
