(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Senator Dean Heller has won the endorsements from two major Nevada newspapers.

The “Las Vegas Review-Journal” called the Republican incumbent “a thoughtful conservative” who is “not afraid to embrace reforms.”  The newspaper accused his opponent, Democrat Shelley Berkley, of supporting “harmful and counterproductive policies” that drove the Nevada economy “into the Dumpster.”

The “Reno Gazette-Journal” has also backed Heller, citing his ability to “work well across the aisle” with Democrats.
