(Las Vegas, NV) – Nevada’s casinos won more than $859 million in August, but that’s a 3.11% decrease compared to the same month last year.
According to the state Gaming control Board, Clark County casino revenue was down 3.35%. August was a tough month for North Las Vegas, down 13.05%, and for the Boulder Strip which saw winning drop 17.7% compared to last year.
Las Vegas strip casino revenue was down 1.19%.
Gaming taxes collected by Nevada in September based on August gaming revenues increased just over 5.24%.
