(Las Vegas, NV) – The Las Vegas 51′s will continue to play at Cashman Field for another decade.
Members of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority board have granted a lease extension to the owners of the minor league team, allowing them to play ball at Cashman through 2022.
The team’s current owners are trying to sell the 51′s to the Howard Hughes Corporation because they own two downtown Las Vegas casinos, which doesn’t sit well with the Pacific Coast League.
