(Las Vegas, NV) – Police have identified the man accused of slamming his car into a southwest valley bus stop, killing four people and injuring eight others. Twenty-four year old Gary Lee Hosey Jr. is now in police custody and faces four counts of DUI causing death.

Detectives say a Chevy Monte Carlo was reportedly going about 100 miles an hour when it lost control and struck the bus stop on Spring Mountain Road near Decatur early yesterday morning. Three women and a man, ranging from 24 to 65-years old, were killed.

Eight others suffered serious injuries. Rescue crews say when they pulled Hosey from the car, he was overheard asking, quote, “Did I make it to the liquor store?”

Hosey’s criminal history includes local arrests for:
·         Possession of a controlled substance – non-medical marijuana – less than 1 oz., [04/2011],
·         Obstructing a police officer, [07/2011],
·         Lewd/lascivious conduct, [11/2011],
·         Possession of a controlled substance – non-medical marijuana – less than 1 oz., [01/2012],
·         Larceny from a person. [08/2012],
·         Conspiracy to commit larceny from a person, [[08/2012].
Because Hosey remains hospitalized and has not yet been booked into the Clark County Detention Center the attached photograph is from his August, 2012 arrest.
