(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Those infamous photos of a nude Prince Harry playing strip billiards at a Las Vegas resort has boosted Sin City’s profile.

A spokeswoman for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority tells the “Review-Journal” her agency is pleased with the “buzz and coverage” the story has generated.

The LVCVA last week ran a humorous ad campaign, shaming those who broke the “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” code for taking pictures of Harry in the buff.

Hotels.com says searches for Las Vegas hotels from both Great Britain and the U.S. are up significantly from a year ago.
