(Carson City, NV)  –  Plenty of unemployed Nevadans have run out of benefits.

The state Department of Employment says just 22% of jobless workers in the Silver State now get weekly checks.  That’s down from the 50% mark reached during the height of the recession.

Nevada’s unemployment rate in July rose to 12%.

Since May 2010, the Silver State has had the highest jobless rate in the nation.
