(Las Vegas, NV) — A woman has filed a discrimination complaint against Las Vegas Township Constable John Bonaventura, claiming he sexually harassed her and other female employees.
The Las Vegas Sun reports Kristy Henderson filed the complaint July 16 with the Clark County Office of Diversity.
Henderson, who was Bonaventura’s only female deputy until she was fired July 13, alleges the constable asked her to wear a “mini-skirt and garter” to work instead of a deputy’s uniform and unsuccessfully tried to hug and fondle her once.
He’s also accused of complimenting her for her “hard body.”
Bonaventura did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Henderson says she filed a similar complaint July 27 with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission after she didn’t hear back from the county office.
