(Carson City, NV) – Nevada businesses did well in May.
The Department of Taxation says state-wide taxable sales rose just over 10%, compared to May 2011. Clark County also enjoyed a double-digit increase during May, led by strong performances in auto sales, building materials, and bars and restaurants.
It was the 13th straight month of year-to-year increases for taxable sales in Clark County.
