(Las Vegas, NV) – NASCAR Weekend proved to be a sure bet for Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority says the March event generated over $240 million for the local economy. That’s up more than 26% from last year.
Seventy-one percent of race fans came from out of town, and 13% were international visitors.
The three-day NASCAR event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway featured several races, capped by the Kobalt Tools 400.
