(Las Vegas, NV) – Fireworks are suspected in a three-alarm apartment fire that left nearly 50 people homeless. The blaze broke out just before 7:00 last night at the Sonoma Shadows complex on Karen near Maryland Parkway.
The fire took nearly 70 crew members almost two hours to put out. Three residents and a firefighter suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Twenty-two apartments were destroyed. Damage has been estimated at $1.5-million.
