(Las Vegas, NV)  —  David Cassidy’s publicist is blaming a drug interaction for the singer’s recent behavior in Las Vegas.  Jo-Ann Geffen tells the “Review-Journal” the 62-year-old Cassidy mixed cold medication with cortisone for eczema.

The former “Partridge Family” gave a rambling performance and berated audience members this past Sunday, causing more than 50 people to walk out of his show at the South Point hotel.

Geffen says Cassidy plans to post an apology on his website, and has offered to perform a charity benefit at the hotel.

A South Point official earlier said Cassidy would not be invited back.
