(Las Vegas, NV)  –  A separated tire is being blamed for a deadly accident south of Las Vegas.  The Nevada Highway Patrol says an SUV going north on I-15 near the Sloan exit went out of control yesterday afternoon and flipped over.

A 39-year-old California woman died at the scene, while another woman was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries.  Four other passengers were also hospitalized.
