(Las Vegas, NV) – Congressional candidate Danny Tarkanian says he’ll appeal a 17-million-dollar judgement for a loan on a real estate deal that went bad.
The “Sun” says the loan was used to develop an “equestrian destination resort” in California. But the developer and the bank that financed the deal both went bankrupt. The son of former UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian is one of nine Republican candidates running for Nevada’s new Fourth District.
The winner of the June 12th primary will take on Democrat Steven Horsford in the general election.
