(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A California blackjack dealer has won the first bracelet in the World Series of Poker tournament.

More than 700 players took part in the event’s first competition, which was limited to workers in the gaming industry.  It ended last night when Chiab Saechao took home nearly $71,000.

Sixty more bracelets will be handed out as the world’s richest poker tournament continues at the Rio hotel.
