(Las Vegas, NV) — A stabbing west of the Las Vegas Strip led police to an alleged prostitution operation.
Metro police say a British man got into a fight with a bouncer at the Red Devil Fitness and Spa early Sunday morning. The victim was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Six people have been arrested on racketeering charges, but the stabbing suspect is still at large. Police say Red Devil was a so-called “clip joint”, a business where cab drivers take customers who are looking for sex. Once inside, they are promised more “attention” for more money. At some point, the customer is kicked out and told not to call police because prostitution is illegal.
The victim remains hospitalized at UMC Monday morning.
