RENO, Nev. — The UNLV football team will appear on national television at least three times this fall as part the Mountain West Conference’s new contract with the CBS Sports Network.
The Mountain West unveiled a slate of 25 games Thursday that it says will greatly boost the league’s exposure under the deal with CBS, which will sub-license some games to NBC and ESPN.
It begins with the Rebels’ season-opener against Minnesota on Thursday, Aug. 30. Other games include UNLV’s home game against Washington State on Sept. 14 and the Rebels game at Boise State on Oct. 20.
