(Las Vegas, NV) — Two landscapers were badly stung by a swarm of bees in the southeast valley.

Authorities say the pair discovered the swarm while working at a home near Hacienda and Eastern yesterday morning. The two landscapers were taken to an area hospital, with one suffering critical injuries. County firefighters closed off the area to traffic while an exterminator dealt with the swarm.

The neighborhood reopened to traffic in the early afternoon. This type of occurence happens a couple of times of year in the Lass Vegas Valley.
