(Las Vegas, NV) — Supporters and opponents of health care reform are marking its second anniversary in different ways. Backers held a rally outside the federal courthouse in downtown Las Vegas yesterday. Congressman Joe Heck has introduced a bill to replace the law with one that does not require people to buy health insurance. The Obama administration says about 477,000 Nevadans now get preventive coverage without charge, thanks to the law passed in 2010. The U.S. Supreme Court hears arguments next week on whether the reform measure is constitutional.
