(Carson City, NV) — Nevada’s legislators could meet every year in Carson City if one lawmaker has his way. Las Vegas Assemblyman Tick Segerblom has called for a constitutional amendment to allow annual sessions, instead of the current 120-day sessions held every other year. Segerbloom says Nevada Governors have called special sessions ten times since 1998 to handle various matters. Texas, North Dakota and Montana are the only other states with sessions every two years.
