(Las Vegas) – The Palms and Playboy Enterprises are ending their partnership after a six-year run. The announcement comes after the hotel’s Playboy Comedy Lounge shut down in early January. It’s unclear why the Playboy Club is closing, but a statement from the hotel says both sides are proud of their association. The original bunnies were let go a few months ago in favor of hotel employees wearing bunny costumes. There’s no word on how many workers are now out of jobs.

why is the playboy club closing ? maybe because they charge an entry fee . why would anyone pay over and over again to gamble in a nevada casino ? maybe once just to see the place , but then why , when you can play anywhere else for free .

it was a failed concept at the wrong property run by the wrong people, playboy cubs and the magazine as well are a high end classy brand, that was turned into a kids hip hop dance club, terrible just terrible, gone was the mystique and the class that embodied playboy, its age demographic like the rest of the palms was dominated by 21 to 30 year olds that outside of looking at celebrity ass and boobs have never read the great articles in playboy magazine, its an adult brand not a kids hip hop mess, the decor was average, the music was fair at best, this club should have been at ceasers in las vegas where a classy clientele could enjoy this iconic brand with world class entertainment not djs playing for their 10 friends in attendants
