High Winds, Colder Temperatures On The Way

(Las Vegas, NV) – A blast of cold air and high winds are set to arrive in the Las Vegas valley. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning with expected gusts to 60 mph. The winds are expected to blow in around 10am. Larry Jensen, meteorologist with the NWS in Las Vegas told KXNT when we can expect the most severe conditions. “For the Las Vegas valley, by 2p-4p this afternoon, we’re looking at wind gusts to 60 mph or greater.” Not only will the wind be a factor but a cold front will move in tonight and drop Wednesday’s high to 57 degrees. The change in conditions won’t last very long with 70 degree temperatures returning on Friday.
