(Irvine,CA) — Nevada continues to lead the nation in foreclosures. RealtyTrac says the Silver State had the highest foreclosure rate in January, despite an eight-percent drop from December. It was the 61st consecutive monthNevadahas been at the top of the list. Californiawas second, followed byArizona. Among the nation’s metro areas,Las Vegas ranked fifth overall. It was the only non-California city in the top ten for foreclosure rates. The Golden State’s Stockton and Modesto topped the list.
