(Henderon, NV) – The woman whose charity to help homeless youth has been rocked by scandal reportedly tried to take her own life last Friday morning. Kathleen Vermillion reportedly made one of two 911 calls from her Henderson home. The local fire department responded to reports of what was called a “medical episode” and Vermillion was hospitalized. Vermillion stepped down from the “Partnership For Homeless Youth” amid allegations she misused the charity’s money. She was also in a public spat with ex-boyfriend, County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, over revelation of her private medical information.
