Las Vegas – The Southern Nevada Health District reports three confirmed cases of Legionnaires Diseased confirmed involving people who stayed at the Luxor. Health district officials say the first two cases were reported in the spring of 2011. Tests of water at the Luxor came back negative and both patients recovered. But officials say a third case was reported to the health district in January 2012, after a patient died. New tests were conducted and the results were positive. The Luxor began an immediate remediation process and no additional cases have been reported.
