TV Chef Gordon Ramsay Opening Up Vegas Restaurant
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Scottish-born chef famous for his flagship London restaurant and TV appearances is opening an eatery at the Paris casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
Officials at Paris say Gordon Ramsay Steak will open in spring 2012 and replace Les Artistes Steakhouse.
Ramsay appears on culinary TV programs including “Hell’s Kitchen,” ”MasterChef” and “Kitchen Nightmares.” He’s opened restaurants in cultural hubs including Los Angeles, Paris and Montreal.
The 274-seat Las Vegas restaurant’s design is based on Ramsay’s hometown of London and will feature a large bar area, lounge and chef’s table in addition to the main dining room.
Officials say the menu will range from traditional steakhouse fare to Ramsay’s signature fish and chips and shepherd’s pie.
