Newlyweds From India Among Copter Crash Victims

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Medical examiners have identified a newlywed couple from New Delhi, India, as among the five people killed in the crash of a sightseeing helicopter outside Las Vegas last week.

Clark County Coroner Michael Murphy tells The Associated Press on Sunday that 28-year-old Lovish (low-vish) Bhanot (bah-not) and 26-year-old Anupama (ah-NEW-pah-ma) Bhola (bola) were killed in the crash during a Sundance Helicopters tour near Lake Mead east of Las Vegas.

Murphy, who spoke with family members of the newlyweds late Saturday, says the couple who married in India in early November died of multiple injuries and burns.

He previously confirmed the names of pilot Landon Nield of Las Vegas and tourists Delwin and Tamara Chapman of Utica, Kan., who family members say were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.
