(Las Vegas) – Metro Police are asking the public’s help to find the mother of a newborn infant who was found dead in a dumpster last month. A man found the baby’s body back on October 29th in a dumpster in the 5100 block of East Twain Avenue. The baby appeared to be a full-term female, either white or Hispanic, and had the umbilical cord still attached. Investigators are trying to identify the mother to determine if a crime was committed. They’re asking anyone who knows of a woman who was due to have a baby between October and December of this year, is no longer pregnant, and doesn’t have a newborn, to contact Metro’s Homicide Bureau at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
