Nevada Gas Prices Hold Steady From Last Month

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada’s average gas price is $3.61 per gallon after a mixed month where prices dipped in some areas and climbed in others.

AAA said Tuesday that their latest number is up from the same time last year, when Nevadans were paying an average of $2.93 per gallon. The November number is a one-cent increase from a month ago.

The Carson City area has the state’s cheapest gas with an average price of $3.55 per gallon. Reno gas averages $3.66 per gallon, and Elko and Sparks tie for the state’s most expensive gas with an average price of $3.69 per gallon.

Nevada numbers still exceed the national average price of $3.41 per gallon.

Nevada has the 8th highest average price in the lower 48 states. California has the highest, at $3.84.
