(Las Vegas, NV)  — There’s an effort to get Nevada Republicans on board with a plan to push the state’s presidential caucus back to February 4th.  The “Sun” says national GOP officials have promised stricter sanctions to protect Nevada’s early caucus status, if the state moves its caucus from January 14th.  The GOP has also promised high-level surrogates would help raise money in the Silver State.  State GOP Chairwoman Amy Tarkanian has said discussions over the caucus date are ongoing.
