(Las Vegas, NV) — Another high-profile Democrat is expected to run for Congress. The “Sun” says Senate Majority Leader Steven Horsford will announce plans to run for the House later today. Since the state’s congressional districts are not yet in place, Horsford is expected to run in the district that includes Las Vegas’
urban center. The 38-year-old Horsford was elected to the state Senate in 2004, and later became Nevada’s first African-American majority leader.
