F Street Controversy Continues
(Las Vegas, NV) — A plan to reopen a blocked street near downtown Vegas is being questioned. Councilman Bob Coffin and a community activist have come out against spending $20-million to reopen F Street, which was closed due to a freeway widening project. Supporters say keeping the street closed isolates the low-income West Las Vegas community. Council members have voted to spend more than $2-million on a design plan.
