Suspect in Teen Slaying Has Record
(Las Vegas, NV) — The young man accused of assaulting and killing a local teenager has a criminal past. The “Review-Journal”
says according to sources, 19-year-old Javier Righetti assaulted a teenage girl in a bathroom at Centennial High School two years
ago. Because he was a minor at the time, Righetti’s record was sealed. He served one year at a youth center, but was not charged with a sex offense. Righetti is facing charges in the Labor Day weekend death of 15-year-old Alyssa Otremba. He faces a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
