GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Las Vegas,  NV)  —  A plan allowing a local developer to replace a golf course on the Vegas Strip with an industrial park is on hold.  Clark County commissioners have delayed action on a lease change for Billy Walters, who wants to tear down the Bali Hai Golf Club on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard.  The 155-acre parcel is owned by McCarran Airport, and Walters pays rent on the land.  Supporters say the deal would generate new property taxes and create construction jobs.  Commissioners will revisit the issue
September 6th.
