Poll: Obama Vulnerable in Nevada
(Las Vegas, NV) — President Obama’s political woes are spreading to the state he carried in 2008. A new poll by the Democratic
group Public Policy Poling shows Obama has a 47% approval rating in Nevada, while 50% are unhappy with his performance. Among his potential Republican challengers, the president is in a virtual dead heat with Mitt Romney, who won the state’s GOP caucuses in 2008. The PPP poll also shows the former Massachusetts governor with 31% support among possible GOP contenders. Texas Governor Rick Perry is second with 18%, and Michelle Bachmann is third with 12%.
