(Las Vegas, NV) — Many homeowners will get a pleasant surprise in the mail this week. Clark County Treasurer Laura Fitzpatrick says property taxes on more than half of the valley’s 729,000 parcels will be lower this year. Tax revenue is expected to reach $1.6 billion, a drop from last year due in part to falling real estate prices. The first of four property tax installments will be due in about a month. If you don’t receive a notice by August 1st, call the county treasurer at 455-4323.
