(Las Vegas, NV) — Building wraps that advertise shows or events are a common sight on the Vegas Strip, but not downtown. The “Review-Journal” says a plan to make the wraps legal in some areas along or near Fremont Street has been rejected by the city council, because they can’t agree on what ads can be displayed.
Councilman Stavros Anthony says there’s concern about content that “may embarrass the city.” Anthony says city officials and advertisers will keep trying to resolve the building wrap issue.
