(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Nearly three-thousand UNLV students received their diplomas during Saturday’s graduation ceremony at the Thomas & Mack Center.  The class of 2011 ranged from 19- to 78-years-old.  It was the largest spring graduating class in the university’s history.

As a sign of the growing use of the Internet, the commencement was streamed live, and graduates were able to upload their pictures on UNLV’s Facebook and Twitter pages, including the best-decorated graduation caps.

Loved the idea of incorportating streaming graduation. There is only so many tickets available for visitors and what a great way to include a larger set of family and friends!
