(Las Vegas, NV) — The prosecutor accused of buying crack cocaine from a dealer has been suspended from the District Attorney’s office. Police say 47-year-old David Charles Schubert was taken into custody Saturday afternoon near Desert Inn and Maryland Parkway.
Authorities say Schubert was found with cocaine in his car, along with a handgun and ammunition. Schubert, who recently tried the high profile drug cases of Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton, faces termination. His first court appearance is set for May. District Attorney David Roger calls Schubert’s future with his office “bleak.”
