(Las Vegas, NV) — An attorney for one of the men accused of robbing the Rio Casino says he has video evidence that will clear his client. The “Las Vegas Sun” says Louis Schneider, who represents Edward Land, is trying to obtain surveillance video that shows Land at the Palms hotel at the time of the February 24th heist.
A preliminary hearing for Land and co-defendant Hiroyuki Yamaguchi is April 26th. Police say the men conspired to steal more than 33-thousand-dollars in chips. Another alleged robber, 45-year-old Steven Gao, remains at-large.
