Southern Nevada residents will notice more traffic in the sky starting Monday as Red Flag Training Exercises return to Nellis Air Force Base. Red Flag involves realistic combat training for U.S. troops and allies such as Great Britain and Australia. More than 80 aircraft a day will depart from Nellis daily between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Most of the air training will take place north of Las Vegas on the Nevada Test and Training Range. Red Flag continues through March 11th.
