Situated between the flashy, newer Las Vegas Strip, and the older, historic Downtown, the Stratosphere is working to reimage and reposition itself in the battle to attract more attention. Will the $20 million dollar project impress you?
According to the Las Vegas Sun, the hotel/casino announced that Paul Hobson, previously of the Aquarius in Laughlin, will take over as general manager of the Stratosphere. The first priority in the renovation, he says, was the hotel rooms.
The Stratosphere has about 900 revamped rooms to offer guests, with more to come. Along with the rooms, the casino has been updated, including new carpeting, upgraded slots, and a “party pit” of table games with scantily clad dealers.
